I have problems with my gv -4 . does anyone know what the nominal pressure readings should be in the combustion chamber prior to and after ignition. my pressure sw is set at 1.4 in water. I measure 1.5 in before ignition and 1.0 in after which causes the boiler to shut down.. Unfortunately , i never measured these while my boiler was working. I replaced the vent motor and cleaned out the combustion chamber as best as i could but nothing seems to help

Did you change the hot surface ignitor which is also the flame sensor?0
-
yes
the flame is proven before the pressure drops
I temporarily bypassed the press sw and the boiler runs fine although it doesn't seem to heat the water as fast
