"Boiler conveys with home"

Recently purchased an old farmhouse. Working theory is that it got steam heat circa 1920s when the addition was added. No one has had the heart (or the wherewithal) to haul the original boiler out.

Not only an old Ideal Redflash, but an Iron Fireman stoker too!

I sure hope the steam system is still working..................

That's back when men were men and boys were tasked with hauling the ashes out of the pit. Wait an extra week and those ash barrels got mighty heavy and the last thing you wanted to do as ask for help because YOU didn't do your job last week, that might just get a new lump on the side of your head.

If you really want it gone you can post it for sale/free on www.coalpail.com after you become a member of the coal forum.

There are a lot of coal stoker buffs that would love to have that coal stoker.
