Hi there WALLies,
Comparing the two boilers for a client. The Slantfin seems to have less proprietary parts. The Burnham can take a lower return water temp.
Please post your input on which and why. Direct vent is required however room air is fine.
Discuss.

Either boiler I would go direct vent. I lean towards the Burnham but think the biggest thing is support for the product in your area. Can you get parts and help if needed...0

The nice part about the Slantfin is that it can take a standard commonly found Honeywell aquastat. The Burnham is also a Honeywell however not found as much locally.lchmb said:Either boiler I would go direct vent. The on board IQ system is nice however the Burnham requires one to purchase a ODR card while the Slant fin comes standard.:NYplumber:0
