Understanding a gas meter tag...

What was the solution to this problem?

In my area the standard delivery pressure is 7" WC. We often get people installing new generators that require a higher pressure than standard. For a fee I'm sure they would bump it up to their next offered pressure. The person associated with this gas account would most likely have to call them to have it done. This would be my first thought on the situation.

Also, I would be shocked if there wasn't a regulator somewhere outside of the building. Maybe they didn't want higher pressure coming into the basement of a building in case there was a leak, so regulated it outside of the building. We have 50 psig in most of our areas, and then its regulated down to 7"WC to each customer.

For the upgrades they performed. It appears they installed a new meter to handle this load and piped it into the building. I'm not sure if they branched this off of existing above ground piping outside of the building, or ran a separate line underground just for this.
