I have a Axia 20E with a Honeywell ignition module. Unit keeps shutting down. Replaced probes. Wondering what to do next and how to reset it when it locks out. Appreciate any advice/suggestions.

This is typically fixed by a full clean and tune. Your service professional will pull the top off the heat exchanger and clean it all out of debris and vacuum thoroughly. After that they would reset up the burner a combustion analyzer.

If the problem persists, then check the flame rod, and all other safety devices to find the problem.

Typically the rectifier cable and control board sometimes get wonky. Replacing them will help problem lock outs too. Resetting it is done but turning knob all the way to the left.
The bad thing about these is it a one and done trial for ignition.

They are pretty reliable most of the time. I have had 1 or 2 that were troublesome.

Can anyone tell me what the lifespan of these should be? And if it needs replacing what brand do you recommend?

Lifespan should be 20 years or so. Unless its leaking you can still get parts. I have only seen 1 leak. The Heat exchanger is mostly copper.
    Where you at?

Your best bet may be to call Embassy and ask for a service provider that is familiar w/ this unit.

Yes! We ended up getting it serviced and cleaned by a plumbing/heating specialist. $80=peace of mind! Thanks for checking in
