RAPID HEATER CYCLING

in Gas Heating
MY HEATER / AIRCONDITIONER IS ABOUT 6 YEARS OLD AND THE HEATER COMES ON ONLY FOR A FEW SECONDS, IGNITES, STARTS TO BLOW, THEN TURNS OFF. I CHANGED THE AIR FILTER WHICH HELPED FOR A FEW DAYS, NOW THE PROBLEM IS BACK. THE FILTER DID NOT LOOK DIRTY TO ME BUT I DID NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. THE DRAIN LINE IS CLEAR.......ANY IDEAS? APPRECIATE THE HELP. ROBERT

    Either call someone, that can properly troubleshoot and diagnose the problem, or rent the place out as cold storage. Seriously......this time of year, it's not something to play around with. :smile:
