leaks in 3/4 copper under a slab

in Radiant Heating
has anyone used 1/2 pex insereted in 3/4 copper to repair a leak under a slab on a bb type hot water heating system?

    I have not. Sounds like you may need to run new pipes above the concrete. You can build a baseboard box and have them run through that?

    Without chopping up the floor, it isn't practical.

    If it is copper, and soldered under the floor and in sand, its probably pulled apart from expansion and contraction. When contracting/cooling, it can yank the pipe right out of a soldered ell.

    Neighbor down the block had a plumber run a section of 1/2" pex through 3/4 copper, said he's done a few this way. It works if you can get it through. I would have to think it would restrick flow somewhat.
