I ran across this earlier in the week. the customer was planning on replacing this unit but when I saw this I had to turn off the gas and kill the power. I looks as though the 2nd section shifted/ warped. Flue gas will being blown into the basement....for over a year.

    The really odd thing is this never leaked... water that is. Customer couldn't figure whey the CO detector was going off. They pulled out the batteries. :o
