Smith-Mills 250 Series coal to gas conversion

I got a call to convert a 1950's vintage 250-8(?) to natural gas. Never done a conversion, start to finish, before. Any direction would be appreciated.

    Never done one myself, but have seen some oil to gas conversions. One brand name is Adams Manufacturing of Cleveland, (216) 587-6801. They still answered the phone 2-3 years ago.
    Their literature for their "Speedflame" power burners indicated old boilers with "grates and ash doors".
    I have found it to be a fairly reliable power burner with simple construction. Efficiency is probably fair to good for being that simple.

    I have had experience with only 2 of these units.
    But perhaps someone you could contact for some enlightenment.

    There are probably a lot of oil to gas conversion possibilities.
    But a 1950's coal burner could produce a lot of deer in the headlights expressions. IMO

    Note: got to be much better than shoveling coal.
