Mass PV, SREC's and questions

Not sure if we have PV people that stop by this site- anyone have some general knowledge about the SRECS going away, or staying the same after this year ends? Without the SREC the whole thing seems like it's too much dough.

    The combination of dropping PV costs and the political muscle of the utilities is rapidly eroding most incentive programs. I'm not familiar with the MA solar market, but DSIRE generally has up to date info.

    yes thanks, i am getting the same impression. if I sign the dotted line and spend a huge wad, the PV people can't promise i will be operational before the end of the year, which puts me in a bit of a funk. I get the tax incentive which is good, but the SREC has some meat in the bone too.

    In MA, the SRECs are worth more than the cost of power.

    I signed an agreement for PV in early February, and they were installed late April. Solar Store of Greenfield.
