Short buzzing from Daiken minisplit

I have a minisplit set up in my barn that we rarely use, well I fired it up this weekend to hang out in there and it was running for 15 minutes normally then I heard a loud buzzing noise coming from the minisplit unit. Buzz lasted 1-2 seconds then stopped. It would recur every minute or so and then I just shut it down. It was putting out nice cold air the entire time. The outdoor unit seemed fine. I use this for heat and AC probably 5 times a year so I don't want to spend an arm an a leg. Any DIY I can check quickly before calling in an hvac service?

It sounds like you have a wall hung unit with a condensate pump that may have to be primed with water. You can run it for awhile and it should prime but it would be best if you can find a way to get some water into the condensate drain pan. It wont require a lot of water .hvacfreak
