Ac evaporator coil having droplets fall off coil

Carrièr up flow air handler having trouble with what appears to be water falling off slanted flat coil. The return is open with a air bear on it and no return duct, using luver door in closet to pull air from condo.maybe to much static pressure? Tried cleaning coil,it is not any draining issues.

Thx

    What's an air bear?
Can you see what the discharge static pressure is with a manomoter? If the air is deadheading in the plenum, you may be drawing air back through the fan... But if you have air blowing most or all of the registers this is not likely.
You like the pressures? If your evap is tooo cold, the excess condensate is not able to dribble down the coil and may be falling off due to excess.
Try checking the suction temp, and see if it's more than 25*f below the leaving air temp. You could be flooding the coil with refrig, and boiling off liquid in there.... Do you have atleast 20*F superheat at the comp?

Spray it good with evap cleaner

Some old evap coil instructions recommended spraying the coil with liquid dishwashing detergent to assist with condensate flow run off. Either it would help wash the oils off of the coil or created "wetter water" which clings to surfaces rather than runs off.

Our fire department used some "wetter water" additive to assist protecting wanted shrubs during a controlled wildland burn.
