I have a Super Store Model ss-60 and a oil fired furnace. SuperStore is about 15 years old. Suddenly my hot water won't last for two showers. I have well water as well.
Is there an element I can remove and clean or replace? Suggestions?

A SS-60 is a WH that runs off the boiler... no elements.
You may have a circulator pump that has broken....0 -
There may be a mixing valve that may need cleaned or replaced.0

Or a heat exchanger that is limed up, or an aquastat that is out of sorts, or... It's definitely not the dip tube though...

Turn the power off,run water until tank is cold. Turn power back on and check delta T across HX,should be quite wide, if not, the HX is dirty. Quite common with these.
