Baseboards cold - Circulator Pump Hot

If the baseboards are cold and the circulator pump is hot to the touch, is the circulator pump bad?

    Make sure the loop is not air bound. If the loop has no air in it then yes the pump is bad.

    Thanks Aaron, it was actually air, because after I bled the lines it worked like a charm.
