Rinnai R53 Contoller - not working

Hello,
New here and very much of a novice. I appreciate any leads the forum provides.
There are no lights coming on the Rinnai controller and thus no error codes. Unit is plugged in and outlet has been tested.

Is the unit working? It doesn't need the controller to work. The water servo may have a short thus taking out the display. You can try unplugging the servo and see if display comes back and if it does, replace the water flow control valve. The terminals for control should have 10-13 VDC, if it does, your control is bad.

Hi I also have a Rinnai 53 that my controller has stopped working. No way to check error codes. It is hard wired, nit plugged into outlet. I reset all the electrical fuses& reset theGFR in garage outlets. Still does not work . I have no hot water... Any ideas?

You have inline fuses on the power supply to the unit. Check them.

So I have the same problem with my r53...no control display.
Power is good through the transformer to the board then nothing.
Should I assume the confuser in bad or is there something else on this space ship I should check first?
    Cheers

    Hi!

I am having the same issue. Is the fuse the fix? Anything else i should check? I followed the exact same steps as debedo.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
