PEX/manifold reccomendations

I plan on re piping our hot water heat system and get rid of some ugly old baseboard fin tube and replace with panel rads. I have already done a heat loss with Slant fin's Explorer software, but looking for recommendations on which brand pex al pex and manifolds to use. Running 4 heat zones reusing existing zone valves and a home run system off from a manifold.

Panel rads and zones , interesting . How will you pipe the rads for the zoned system?

Zone valves like 3/4 sweat for example? If so a copper branch manifold from Sioux Chief or Alberta T-Drill, 1 or 1-1/4 trunk and 3/4 branches.

If you want a radiant manifold with actuators, plenty to chose from, Caleffi has a nice selection, with available PAP fittings.

Using panel rad's with a zoned system is not a good idea????? My plan was to have zone valves control each manifold and home runs to each rad.

Properly installed , a zoned panel rad provides near optimum comfort and fuel consumption . Here is additional data on manifolded systems.

Thank you for the info, I have Dan's , "Pumping Away" book and another book by Siegenthaler. I need to do some more reading, Thanks!
