Oil Burner Supply & Return Hoses?

A picture on eBay for a used Beckett AFG burner ( 151626736848 ) shows oil supply and return 3/8" hoses with female flared fittings. Does this meet code. Do you sell them?

As long as they're listed for that use, they're fine. They come in handy on boilers with swing-out doors, since you don't have to disconnect the line to open the door.

At HVAC distributors I cannot find any hoses, labeled or otherwise. We have a local company that makes to order all kinds of hose assemblies for heavy equipment. They did not know of hose assemblies that met code. Had only heard of copper tubing meeting code for residential oil burners. They can make good ones but I want find out if it complies with code.

They made a hose for my natural gas fired alternator on a wheeled cart. The 1" hose is labeled for natural gas service.
For mobility and vibration isolation it is great.

I think it's Crown that makes UL listed 36" braided. I use them all the time. Can you get them shipped? In CT, it's a common item on suppliers shelves.

'Westwood Products" makes them. I am sure your supply house can get them.

The ones we use here are tigerloop hoses, possibly made by Westwood. We get them in 24" and 36" sizes. It is the only way to go with swing out burner doors.

    Thanks for all the leads.
Because Suntec pump have 1/4" NPT ports I got curious about using 1/4" hose rather than 3/8". I called their tech support person who said 1/4" hose is fine. Am using a 40 ft length of 3/8" cu line to a tank at same level.

If you use flex hoses I believe they are SUPPOSED to be changed every couple of years

Have a 5 year warranty and are sold through distributors
Thanks to every one for the help.

I ordered Mitco the hoses but received one made by EIBEL GmbH Germany. Label reads for #2 Fuel oil. 145 Psi Max. There is normally little pressure in the inlet and return lines. If however return clogged, the resulting pump pressure might burst hose resulting in a real mess.

If the return clogs and you don't have a flexible hose, the shaft seal on the fuel unit will blow and you'll have a mess anyway.

The solution is a TigerLoop, which sidesteps the return-line problem.
