I am in the process of bidding a new hvac system for a liquor store. I am in the early stages but it looks like the problem of having the need for more AC than heat capacity is gonna be a problem. I am having a heat loss/gain done by the wholesaler to verify the numbers given to me by the owner.
Heating load is only 115k
Cooling is gonna be 7.5 tons
I have done twinning on gas many years ago. This customer wants to stay with oil. Is there anyone that has used a kit with an oil setup? Who would make one? All my research only shows gas kits. I want to be able to stage two 65k units for efficiency.
This kit looks like it would work fine on an oil fired unit.

Anyone have any experience to share in this area?
Thanks

This is the only non- oem one I have used. They make a good product.

Do you know if this control will alternate the lead unit? Or will I need to install something to take care of that.
I did come across that but was not sure of product quality. Good to hear a word of mouth endorsement.
Thanks for the help!0 -
I don't know of any hot air specific control that does that. You have to do the the old school manual switchover.0
