Replacing a Burnham Boiler V-14A-T boiler

My Boiler has started to leak. I also bought an electric water heater so I no longer need the water heating element. Im wondering if I should replace the unit with a new one or repair leak (if possible) and remove the water heating element. The unit was installed in 1992. Does someone know about how long they usually last? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Repairing a 23 year old boiler if iffy at best, I'd start looking at a replacement boiler. Make sure a new boiler is sized to the house, don't let them just drop the same size back in without doing their job.

    Thank you so much for your response Bob. I will take your advice and be sure they recalculate what I need!! Its a very big expenditure so I will have to be sure and do my homework on brands! Any suggestions?

    Sure it's not the gasket that seals the tankless coil plate? If so, we might just need to tighten the bolts.............

    Or just cap the coil if it's an internal leak.

    those would hairline crack on that side. If it is a coil plate leak, a few bolts might break, but fixable. If it is a crack, no repairing it
