IM looking for the EDR of this radiator. I,ve looked in Dans E.D.R. 'Every Darn Radiator', without any luck. The radiator pictured is on a one pipe steam system. 20" high X 5" deep with 14 - 2" wide sections, for a O.A. length of 28". Any help is really appreciated.

31.5 EDR….U S Boiler calls it a radiant radiator…Some call it a sunrad….In the recessed install such as yours you can subtract 10 percent from 31.5 that would be total EDR for a one pipe steam system0

The subtraction is for output not for total EDR load…I was not sure why you asked for it so I just thought I would clarify that….Sorry If I confused matters..0

You can use the ratings for SunRad radiators. 2.25 ft2 per section.0

Isn't that essentially this?

As I understand it, it provides both convection and radiant heat.0
