Anyone experiencing these controls NOT shutting down boiler on low water? So far, I had three in less than a month. Most recent, on a brand new Thermoflo.
Also, some that do work initially aren't "playing well" with water feeders.
thoughts.....?

Only thing that comes to mind is I've heard using too much sealer on the threads of the probe can cause problems, but I don't know what kind of problems.
Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

packaged boiler.
took the probe(s) out & cleaned them. I don't use Teflon tape or paste on them either. I typically use the grey dope when replacing them.0 -
only pipe dope on probe, teflon on probe blocks grounding the probe and will not work0
