baseboard steam radiator replacement

Hi all, I have a baseboard steam radiator that I want to replace with a standard standing radiator, have been wanting to but just got hold of a radiator small enough to replace it. Can anyone give me an idea how I would go about removing the old baseboard? This thing looks like its been on there forever and doesn't have a shut-off valve, just a 90 degree elbow connecting it to the pipe. I have PB Blaster and a bunch of pipe wrenches of various sizes but will that be enough? Pictures are attached.

    Hello

    I would just use a saws all w/ a metal blade and cut the horizontal pipe going to the rad. Then use wrenches if possible to turn the stub out of the elbow (if you have a torch you can heat the pipe before turning - or try pb blaster but not both!), or go in and (partially) cut through the stub and chisel out the stub from the threads in the elbow. You will eat the metal blade though.
