    Typical media strategy. Give the news of the explosion first, and theeeeen slip in the reason why a few days/weeks later. Great way to scare people into buying/selling/changing/converting.

    I heard the person did it deliberately.

    This "may" of been a house that recently got a boiler under NY's Rapid Repair due to the Hurricane.
