I have a older "the Jack line" indoor wood boiler.Made in Warrens Wis.by Walker Ind.Inc. It is a good boiler,I am wondering how to get the water temp up higher.I am burning dry Red Oak.If i HAVE THE DRAFT ON AND THE ASH DOOR OPEN IT WILL GET TO 135 degrees. It usually runs around 90*.A friend has an outdoor wood boiler and his runs around 180*He says he does not put in alot more wood than i do.I fill the wood box.Are there any suggestions on uping the water temp?IT works pretty good at around 90* but we have been expierencing many temps in the -20 below for a long time this winter in Northern ,MN. Thanks Mork

This will
do the trick. http://www.caleffi.us/caleffi/en_US/Site/Products/Catalogue/args/sezione/Family390_BoilerProtectionValves/path/2~280~280_Sweat-details/include/~applications~catalog~serie.jsp/posizione/prodotto/index.sdo
It will also make your boiler last longer. Just read through the manuals and the installation instructions. Install it exactly the way they tell you to.
