new radiators on old system

I'm remodeling the first floor of a two floor brick house and replacing the radiators, the second floor still has the old cast iron column radiators, do i need to use the same type on the first floor? or it dosen't mater if i use slenderized or the type thats set in to the wall (i forget what their called)?

    oh, and its a one pipe steam system!

    It all depends on the heat loss of each room. You can use any type that you want, if they are the right size.
