I had to replace the grounding electrode on a VB2-33 that we installed 11 years ago.  This boiler has been flawless except to this one problem and I'm wondering what could have caused it to deform.  Any ideas?
8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

    Chassis burner?

    Not that familiar with chassis burner but Vitodens flame rods warp a fair amount over time
