Similar but different senarios occur from time to time. Intermittent problem but very annoying to suite occupants. Have two buildings with roughly 18 units on each. Problem has occured on different units then goes away. Today is occuring and has been for past few days on 20the ton voyager with micro electronic controls. Md.# ycd240b4hcga. Ser.# r29103791d. Any help would be appreciated.

    You can get a manual from your Trane parts rep.  its called the voyage continues,  without this manual it is going to be difficult to trouble shoot the equip. The voyager system needs its own Trane room sensor which interfaces with the microprocessor.  If a conventional t-stat is used a t-stat interface board (cti )  must be installed in the unit. If a conventional t-stat is installed without the cti board the unit will do strange things.      get the manual it is needed.

    Novar Controls?

    If the units run via a EMS system such as Novar, you may have multiple units sharing the same address, or a unit left in Tranes test mode.

    Info is at a premium;

    First take the system into test mode.  This will eliminate outside control problems.  Also as a helpful thought, when you ask a Q;? it's always nice to give obvious measurements so we don't say stuff like are the filters clean.
