what is the name of this part, and what does it do?

in Strictly Steam
This is on the back of a steam heating system. I am not sure what it is or what it's function is. Any ideas. Thanks

    Dunno if its just me,

    but I can't see the picture. I've tried reloading a few times, etc, but nothing.

    It's one of those rare invisible parts. They're the hardest to identify. LOL....sorry, couldn't resist.
