Has anyone either seen such a boiler or have any experience with one? It is presently oil fired and is ancient. It is about 5 feet tall. I am removing it in the near future. Also was asbestos used in the jackets of these old boilers? The new boiler is probably a third of the size. Thank you.

Like the old delo's
That looks like the old Delco steam boiler that was installed in the late 40's, mine lasted till 1996. The originals had a bimetal safety in the flu that you had to clean a couple of times a season.
