I recently replaced two comp's due to rusted/rotted comp terminal's of the spade type. The replacement comp's had the fairly new one piece rubber block that simply pushes onto the terminals of the pin type. The supply house said that this kind of failure is common on the 7-10 year old  Cope Scroll's.Has anyone seen many of this kind of failured scroll's?

    Have seen it once.  Should not happen, but then again engineers design things, throw it out in the field, then re design so it will actually work w/o problems.

    Overcharge

    I see it more with units that are overcharge.You go up to them on a nintyfive degree day and the compressor has water just pouring down it.

    If i may ask on a ninty five degree day and over should a compressor be sweating?What about the suction line? I guess maybe there are to many variables to really say forsure.
