Tune after flue lining?

I recently had a stainless liner installed in my boiler chimney flue (which was previously just unlined bare brick; it's an 1890 house). The boiler, a Weil McLain Gold feeding 1-pipe steam (175,000 Btu) was cleaned and tuned up in the fall. Should I have a tech back out to retune the boiler now for the new draft conditions, or does that not make a very big difference in operation?

    Not Sure...

I am not familiar with your boiler but MY boilker goes ape when you blow oin it the wrong way. Adjusting the draft makes a huge difference. I run mine on the edge all the time so it will soot like crazy if some parameter changes even slightly.

    absolutely...

have them come out, reset the draft, then adjust for smoke, then combustion analyzer for maximum operating condition/and efficiency.  The liner is most likely going to give you much more draft, hopefully you still have the proper draft regulator on the flue pipe.  If not, tell the tech to bring one with him.
