need fault alarm on Vitodens 100

in THE MAIN WALL
is there a way to tie in a audible alarm into a Viesmann Vitodens 100 boiler upon fault? The Vitodens 200 has such a place but not the 100.

    Not possible

    Can't be done as far as I know. How about a temp alarm?

    Best your going to do on the 100 is to add the Como-Ot up in the living space. Now you have access to the boiler and more...

    Just recently did a couple of boiler replacement jobs, being single zone I selected the como.



    It's a great device, and above average in the user interface intuitiveness. . This is not an on/off stat it is an boiler interface and room temperture feedback device. You can view outside temperture, boiler temperture, set DHW, room influence factor, reset ratio, maximum boiler modulation etc. It even has a self calibrating reset ratio option, I didn't trust it and made a couple of visits back to the jobs to dial it in just right, then I turned on the room influence feature to a relitivly low setting of 5. It was doing great with no room feedback but I like the idea that diurnal changes (sun, cooking, occupants, etc.) with be compensated for.



    Great device what a huge improvement over setting a fixed boiler reset curve and then using a bing bang stat to make room temp adjustments. To bad the open therm was not on more NA boilers.



    No alarm contacts though, but a dry contact for remote switching of setback.
