Snow melt
All you snow melters. I could use some advice. I have recently been thrown a curve ball to a snowmelt system that was going to be all concrete with brick pavers on top. The motor court is approx 4000 sq' with six feet of overhang around three sides. The owner would now like to put concrete and pavers around the perimiter under the over hang and asphalt in the center. I already have my pumps and controls ready to go. I am using tekmar 665 with 090 sensors. I have been told two different ways to handle this. One is to put two different zones one for black top and one for concrete with two seperate sensors. or just adjust my temperate out put to handle the slab with the most mass. My dilema is what if the black top absorbs tons of heat and doen't kick on my snow melt at all. What's your guys take on this.
Thanks, AL0 -
nice control
that tekmar system.
Also look at the Caleffi 605, it will allow 2 sensors on one control.

zones
So this system should be two zones or just one. I could change out the 665 for the 664.0 -
answer
I know one thing the system is going to have to run for a while to get those pavers hot0
