wirsbo blisters

I have inherited a job with Wirsbo 1/2" hePEX sandwiched in a floor between plywood. When we took up a piece of wood the tubing below had numerous blisters, like little bubbles in the pipe, in some areas. The blisters appear to be only on the surface just under a thin layer of some material. We had just put water to the tubing about a week ago and the tubing we could see looked OK. Has anyone ever seen this and should I be worried?

    Same issue

with a job I had under 50 psi air for one year, and air pockets were forming under the co-extruded oxygen barrier. I guess the oxygen barriers do work. Also, I've seen pockets on the pipe right out of the box, apparently the co-extruded barrier not adhering properly during mfg., but barrier still in tact.

    wirsbo blisters

Is there a time limit for air pressure testing? Mine also was under air pressure for about 9 months. The main question I have is the tubing and oxygen barrier OK, even with the blisters?
