Calling for heat

in THE MAIN WALL
The furnace seems to be receiving a call for heat when the house temp does not warrant the action.  Sequence starts up but shuts down almost immediately.  Will do this repeatedly.  When the need for heat is warrented, system operates fine.  Any suggestions for a remedy?  I am not by any means an HVAC wizard

    Does the boiler

    have a tankless coil?  That is, does the boiler provide domestic hot water as well as heating hot water?
    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

    Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab
