Water Line Question...

This may be a silly question...but, I'm looking to replace my old boiler, with a new model (Triangle Tube Prestige or Viessmann VITODENS 200). My main water line, into the house is only 3/4" (not 1"). Does it matter if the boiler is looking for a 1" hookup, or would I need to look for a boiler with a 3/4" line?
Let me know if it matters. Thanks in advance!

Are you sure....
You're not looking at the supply and return size piping that goes to the boiler? The domestic sizes are usually 3/4", and to/from boiler 1" or 1 1/4". On the boiler side you have to follow the manufactures recommendations, on the domestic size you can reduce down. There was an error rendering this rich post.

Don't worry
About the size of the water feed to the boiler. If you install a 1/2" water supply line to the boiler, it will be more than sufficient. Just be sure to include the proper back-flow protection and pressure reducing valve.0
