Does anyone know of any resources pertaining to contractors van safety.By this I mean the strapping down of B-Tanks ETC. Thanks for any help!!!!!!

    regs for trucks

    Alot of this article won't pertain to you, but there may be a few chemicals/ gases that you transport that will be covered under the listed regs;

    Your best bet is to call your local OSHA rep and ask if they have a JSA (job safety analysis) for your type of truck, or if they know of any training material to recommend.If your wanting to know about creating a safe workplace it has been my experience that they are glad to help you.

    Truck stuff

    Well,the obvious stuff is to secure any drums/tanks/torches/containers/chemicals/etc.Is your vehicle subject to your State D.O.T. truck stop/inspection? Here in N.Y. all trucks weighing 10,000 lbs  or more can get stopped and checked.
