For natural gas...
it is about 1.15 gallons of water from 100,000 BTU. It is less for #2 fuel oil and I assume also for K2.0 -
thanx
that confirms what i had a helluva time at a scientific site when contemplating a ventless gas heater..............might have to return there to get this answer?0 -
Better check your local codes.
It is my understanding that ventless gas heaters are illegal in many jurisdictions.
I do not know if they are legal where I live, but I would not have one in the house.0 -
it aint
about the heater, its about the science, otherwise a fool with a tool....0 -
JDB is right
they are illegal because of the carbon monoxide hazard. The only thing we'll do with one of these monstrosities is rip it out!Baltimore, MD, USA

stay away from
my gas cookstove which dont got a O2 safety sensor, unlike the ventless heaters. I guess u dont know how much H2O from K2 combustion ?0 -
K1 heaters cannot be ventless in most areas either.
I wasn't even aware that they were still in production. There were some camp heaters available in the late 80's. I have data on LP and Natural moisture output, but nothing on #2 or K1.0 -
