in Radiant Heating
I am considering a radiant system on the first floor slab of a two story chalet but i'm not all that smart.  is there a tank of hot water somewhere or does this draw of of my existing water heater?  if so what kind of capacity does it take?  appro 750 sq ft.

    I use a boiler

    for all heating systems. Some people use water heaters for small loads. It does not , or should not run off your current domestic hot water heater.
    Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

    What you need to do isss

     A heatloss calculation to tell you whether or not there is enough floor area to meet the btu demand.



    Then you need to decide what type of radiant detail you would like to use or can use with your existing application. Example Sandwich, staple up with plates, warmboard ect.



    Decide what floor coverings you would use that is radiant floor heat friendly basically low R value flooring.



    Materials you will be looking at are A small boiler, Tubing, heat transfer plates for the tubing, manifolds, valves, gauges, controls ect. for a brief run down.....
