Which is a bigger vent Gorton d valve or a Varivalve on the highest opening?

Butt I would still use the gorton. The gorton is rated 0.330 cfm at 1 ounce. The vari vent is rated 0.516 cfm's By Gerry and Steve's book Balancing Steam Systems.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
