Venting Material

Has anyone ever used InnoFlue Polypropylene Vent System? Opinions? It is much less expensive than ULC-S636 rated CPVC for venting Vitodens. I'm looking at it as an alternative to bring vent cost down. Before anyone asks, yes it is an allowable vent alternative for Viessmann.

    Haven't use it yet, but...

Looked at a masonry chImney the other day with an impossible to reach offset right in the middle that this flexible vent option may just be the ticket for....

Want to place a Lochy Knight in the basement, and the chimney is the ONLY option for flue gas elimination.

    I saw that

Thanks for the reply. Viessmann just unleashed a new flexiable vent system for Vitodens similar to this. Willing to bet this company OEM's it for them. Viessmann gave me the lit and info on this stuff. My only thought was after reading the install manual is labor. The cost of the product may be less but labor may go up compared to CPVC so it might be a wash. Going to have to try this stuff on one install and time it out.

    PP-R

How about using it as an alternative because it is much more environmentally friendly (PP-R vs. CPVC)? Or that it doesn't contain chlorides which some speculate could leech back onto the heat exchanger causing premature failure?
