Rocky Mountain Radiator

I ran across this in Salida, CO.
8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

    what a great idea

it should last a long time. What is the bike on the back side with the green plastic slides?

You have been in Colorado for awhile now?

    Green thing

Looks like a kids' seat. Kinda scary location, eh?

We were there for three weeks.  Previously, I had only touched western Colorado.  This trip, I spent a week in Rocky Mountain National Park and a week in Crested Butte.  I want to go back again next year to see some more of that beautiful state.

It took awhile to get used to the elevation and the lack of oxygen.  I live at sea level; Crested Butte is at 9,000'.

    Next year...

Give me some advanced notice and I will return the favor of a guided tour for you and your S.O., a steak dinner and even show you some GREAT off road trails that you can go mountain biking on.

    I owe you :-)

Here's one of the vistas you can see riding around my hood...

It's not so much a case of "You got what you paid for", as it is a matter of "You DIDN'T get what you DIDN'T pay for, and you're NOT going to get what you thought you were in the way of comfort". Borrowed from Heatboy.
