We were about to start this project today and finish what the homeowner started when the owner called last night and was concerned that a heat pump(s) may be more efficient and less costly to run than a radiant application using a condensing boiler on propane. We found the existing garage loops were non-barrier Kitec and the basement has 3 loops of non-barrier. I put the owner in touch with Eugene Silberstein to clear the "air". The 6000 SF home has vaulted ceilings and a radiant heat loss of 47,200 BTU's at 24degree F. design temp

Nice!
By the looks of the piping arrangement, I would guess any logical change might be cheaper to run than the current set-up.
Love the support system for the potable tank. There was an error rendering this rich post.
