                    Hello,
I need to replace one of my radiators. I've already posted about it looking for a repair man, but now thinking I need to just replace it. I found a couple of places which sell used and new radiators. My question is I am thinking of replacing my old cast iron 8 fin 3 pipe radiator with one of the NEW slim Burnham ones. My reasoning is that those are cheaper than a new "Classic" Burnham, and it seems like it would be a bit lighter in weight to get up three flights of stairs. Anyone have any experience with these? Would it be a horrible mistake to switch out to one of these or should I look for a used "classic" style radiator?
Also I live in Chicago, does anyone know of a good plumber or steam heat company I can call to arrange for them to install it?
Thanks
Jon

            Chicago Steam Pro
Look in "Find A Professional" above. There are some very good Steam pros in the Chicago area. If you have problems finding them in the "Find a ProfessionaL"above, try again as it can be a bit "quirky". The new updated software in that section sometimes doesn't give you an answer.0

            Find a Professional
 Rod,
Thanks for the advice on Find a Professional. Unfortunately, none were listed for the Chicago area (or Illinois).

            Steam Pro - Chicago
Hi Jon- They are there. It's just that the software on this site was updated recently and is still a bit "wacky". Here I found the link for you.
