How will these work on a main line vs a Gorton 2? I ask because A) I can get the maid O mist #1's or #D locally and B) I cant find a place that takes paypal over the net with gortons #2's. I can only pay payal, no Credit Card. :(

Vent Comparison
Venting capacity -
1 each Gorton # 2 is equal to almost 4 each Maid of the Mist #1
1 each # D is equal to 1 each Maid of the Mist #10 -
well, like Rod says can you put
four of the #1's up there? that would be about what it would take to equal one #2 Gorton. If you were going to use gorton #2's would one vent be worth while?gwgillplumbingandheating.com

Wow, that big eh?
Right now my Mains are venting through some 1933's. So they are barely venting at all anything would be an improvement. I'll see if I can get the gortons.
Another thing is I have about 30 ft of 2.5" main lines (2 mains) in each direction, the vent is currently at the very end of the dry returns next to the boiler. Does it make more sense to have the vents on the end of the mains or end of the return? Or does this not matter so much?0
