Taking a burnham oil fired boiler tankless off of domestic hot water,

We are installing a 50 gal electric hot water heater.

What should the triple aquastat be set to?

It is a Honeywell L8124A triple aquastat. Only need it for heat now.

    It should be

Replaced with a standard aquastat. Otherwise the boiler will maintain a minimum temp.

    I say

Let it maintain a minimum temp. There's still a coil in that boiler and it's gasket will start to leak when the boiler gets cold. Not to mention that a minimum temp will keep any summer condensation at bay. I'd turn the low limit down to where I think 100° would be, then check it later to see if that's what it's maintaining. At 100° it will use very little oil to maintain temp.
