Like 1-3 years of a 275 gal tank that's 3/4 full. What do you guys use? Beckett FuelArmor? I'm taking over a house that was used yr round and using it as a summer home so it will take a long time to use up that oil and I don't want to kill my nice Thermo Pride OL5-85RDA (Beckett AF) . Last delivery of 165 gal was in April. Any suggestions for mothballing the furnace (we'll be using the AC though)? Will the oil co pump out the oil?

I went with Fuel Right EP

Some recommendations here
I could find an MSDS sheet for it
It was cheaper than FuelArmor
I like the simple jar test on their website
The different brands are all probably mostly the same with a little variation in concentration and/or type of ingredients anyway. Basically one needs organic dispersants, corrosion inhibitors, biocides and anti-oxidants which all claim to have.0
