    Assuming the chimney

    develops more draft than the boiler needs, having a knowledgeable pro install a damper and properly adjust it and the burner, can save 15& or so according to one of my books.



    This does not apply to atmospheric gas equipment that has a draft hood built-in- just oil and power-burner gas equipment.
