One of the greatest songs ever recorded

Here is one that I just discovered. I somehow missed it back in the 80's when it first came out.

Morning Blues

Just what I need at 5AM. All the times I've heard that song I never knew it was G Harrison playing slide. Rick, I was lucky enough to be at that Crossroads show with Jeff Beck. Great selections guys. If you like that era guitar work check out Rory Gallagher on youtube.

I don't understand. What is this about?

Dave Stroman

Don`t like Bryan Adams?

I`ll give you that, everyone`s different!
Many good "rockers" came-out of Canada!
In no particular order here`s a few;
Neil Young
Randy Bachman
Rush
Tragically Hip
Blue Rodeo
Colin James
Kim Mitchell
(Even) Celine Dion
Barenaked Ladies, ETC,,to name a few!
Not too shabby!

Likely mike wont understand though. ;-).

Bryan Adams

Dave S., Those guys are probably closet Bryan Adams fans. I didn't give the whole song a listen but I sure remember it. Not a bad song for it's time. As I recall of him and his career he rather became a bad caricature of himself, kinda too full of himself...hence the bad rap. Not the best to come from the great north but certainly not the worst.

Tal Wilkenfield (sp?)

When we were at that Crossroads show we were like "Who is that teenage looking girl on bass?...Wow!" Couldn't keep my eyes off the bigscreen behind the stage when she soloed even though we were only 20 or so equivalant rows deep. She's a looker and can play.

Lotsa good Alvin Lee on you tube. I remember viewing one with Leslie West of Mountain and a few other 70's guitarists on stage that was great. Saw TYA when I was REAL young, last tour I think and then AL solo at a club in the 90's that I barely remember...oops.

I still prefer the 60's and 70's guitarists over the shredders of later times. Maybe I'm a fogey but it just seems purer to me.

Inna Gadda Da Vida,,,

baby!

;-)

We do Da Vida as a set closer. Man, you should see the people's heads turn when we start that one. And we end it with the Beatles "In The End". Big crowd favorite!
