Pex Al Pex staple up

I'd like to use pap on my next staple up, but am a little concerned about the possibility of kinking. Has anyone tried this with any success? If so, any tips or tricks would be helpful.

Who makes 3/8\" PAP?

I mostly use 3/8" in joist bays and I know Viega or Woponor don't have it. Also, actually banging it into the transfer plates might be tough. PEX has got to be substantially quicker to install?

agreed

I've used 1/2 Multicor scraps spliced to 1/2 Hepex (recycling?), and it was pure torture looping the PAP through the joists.

Too much sticktion and rigidity for that application.

3/8\" PEX is the ticket

maybe someone is thinking the Al will act like a tranfer plate???

3/8" Pex has many advantages used for staple-up.
